ELTD Rides Again - at the Altamont Race Track!
Reunited

Not having our songs down 100% has never stopped us from gigging before, so why should it stop us now - when the songs are hovering around 20%?

Who cares if we haven't performed - even practiced - together in three years? That minor detail certainly didn't stop us from renting a generator, 2 beefy amps and setting up a stage at the Altamont Race Track for the 400 Lap Enduro Halloween Bash.

On Stage

We brought out a handful of old favorites, and even debuted the latest up-and-coming single, SZQ's New York Song.

Red played the song for the first time while on stage - reading the chords from scribbles that SZQ had just jotted down on a pad of borrowed graph paper.

When we asked the audience for vocal/guitar/bass balance suggestions, an enthurisastic fan screamed for us to TURN IT ALL UP!

Rock'n'Roll, baby. Rock'n'Roll.

All Rock

All in all, the gig was a wild success. Our friend Smokin' Joe finished 2nd in the car race and ELTD definitely took the gold in the Rock division.

Many thanks to Razzo's Pizza for sponsoring the gig by hooking us up with solid eats before the show. We couldn't have gone on stage without our favorite 2-minute pizza.

Also kudos to SZQ for flying all the way out from the East Coast for this reunion gig - to bring the band together once again. This weekend was solid proof that ELTD lives on!
