...and you thought we couldn't top last year's costumes! Hah! Can we point out the fact that Susan actually hot glued presents to her ankles for this one?! Not to mention the fact that the string of lights she hot glued to her body actually lit up - setting our sidewalk stage aglow with Christmas cheer after the sun went down in the square. Indeed, all the hot glue gun burns were worth it - the Christmas Tree was a smashing success - and I say smashing - re: the trail of broken bulbs she left throughout the city over the course of the day.

Red fought with busting safety pins, white facepaint that was hard as rock, and a dental floss belt to bring Frosty to life. Dirty balled up socks from SZQ's floor became coal buttons and pillows from Susan's bed were used to create the bulbus snow action for Frosty's fine figure. One of the snowman's biggest challenges was indeed the creation of the carrot nose.

Susan was the genious who thought of creating a light-carboard base and hot glueing carrot peels to it to make the nose. We found out however that wet carrot peels don't take to hot glue very well. Red tried to dry them out with a hairdryer. Nope. That didn't work either. So we put them in the microwave, and well, though we didn't actually succeed in creating nice dry carrot peels, we did manage to discover the secret to making a nutriocious tasty delecacy - carrot chips.
