Echo Canyon
What are we doing here? What do we have to fear?
Pack up our bags right, leave before midnight,
Life is a one way ticket
Happiness is a thought away.
No need to worry, tomorrow will never come
The Egrets are flying;
Have your camera ready at sunset because
But the clouds might've moved in, a leaf might've fallen
Now we should snuggle close, whisper in my ear
Then one fairy looked at the other and said
The other fairy looked up and smiled;
Two fairies sittin' in their castle,
Talking about their dreams.
Nestled in their pea pods, reaching for the right star,
Wondring what it means.
Are we on the right road?
What are we s'posed to eat? Who'er we s'posed to meet?
I want to lick that toad.
Magic making trips.
Bring plenty of water, engage the 4 wheel drive,
Watch out for the dips!
Headed for the end of the line.
So tell the man to take it
And stick it where the sun don't shine!
There's always reason to smile.
With friends looking out for you, believing in what you do
We rest the extra mile.
We've only got today.
The water is burning, the children are learning,
We're spinning faster each day.
The spirit is dying.
It's time to look at the moon.
She has been watching us
Taking the tortoise bus
She's helping to blow the monsoon.
As soon as the world turns away,
You won't see the beauty that's staring right at you
Unless you come back the next day.
You might have something to fear.
Controlling a raging lust
Not knowing who to trust
The sharks are lingering near.
Be happy that we are together.
Regardless if its raining or shining,
We can still enjoy the weather.
I like this purple flower
I hope it remains here for ever and ever
So others can feel its power.
Together they nodded their heads.
They said goodnight to Echo Canyon,
Snuggled deeper in their beds
